Swim Gala for Children with Special Needs
We are hosting a small Swim Gala on Saturday the 11th of November at 5pm for children with special needs & disabilities, The events are as follows 10m splash & dash, 15m floatation race, 10m freestyle, 15m free style, 25m freestyle & 25m Back crawl. Their will be 3 children in each race & medals will be awarded to 1st 2nd & 3rd place. Their will be a swim teacher in the water with each child for all 10 & 15m events to assist & offer encouragement, their will be 2 lifeguards on duty also. There is no entry fee but if you would like to make a small donation to the collection bucket on the day it will go towards sending 12 young athletes from Ballinamere Special Olympics Club to the Ireland games next year.
